North to Shore Showcases Asbury Park’s Local Music Scene
The North to Shore Festival offered a glimpse into Asbury Park’s diverse and talented local music scene with its Showcase Stage in the Grand Arcade of the historic Convention Hall. The majority of the artists featured were selected through a competitive application process by Asbury Park arts and culture leaders. The show was hosted by local poet and hip hop artist Chris Rockwell, and featured Des and the Swagmatics, The Mercury Brothers, Space and the Goodstock Jamband, Jake Thistle, Joe Miller, Dave Vargo, Mike Montrey Band, Myster-E Edutainment, and Johnny Nameless.
