Low Cut Connie Rocks Out at Asbury Lanes

’Twas three nights before Christmas and all through the Asbury Lanes a packed house was stirring as it waited for Low Cut Connie to take the stage. And the Philadelphia-based rock and rollers did not disappoint. Frontman Adam Weiner’s energy was infectious as he poured his heart and soul into every note.

The band mixed in songs from their latest release Art Dealers with old favorites and a couple of outstanding covers. The crowd sang and danced all night long. The set featured a number of special guests including Will Dailey (who did a great job opening the show), Reagan Richards and Gordon Brown of Williams Honor, Danny Clinch on harmonica, and members of Fantastic Cat.

Low Cut Connie wraps up the year at Ardmore Music Hall in Pennsylvania before heading out on a spring tour in March of 2024.

Michael Campanile

Michael is an Asbury Park based photographer of what life puts in front of him. He snuck his camera into a concert for the first time in 2011 when he went to see Soundgarden on their reunion tour. Two of those shots ended up being published in Photofantasm Soundgarden: Nudedragons to King Animal, and he has been bringing his cameras to shows ever since. He relocated to Asbury in 2019 for its rich music and art scenes...and to save on tolls! He is a big supporter of the local music scene and has become well known amongst the bands for his photos. Michael is also a regular vendor at the Asbury Park Punk Rock Flea Market and can be found selling his prints at a variety of local markets.
