Jarod Clemons Celebrates Album Release at Asbury Lanes
Over the past five years, I have watched Jarod Clemons develop and grow as a musician. The youngest son of The Big Man just dropped his latest album Sleepless Nights, an excellent compilation of heartfelt blues-inspired rock and roll tunes. Clemons celebrated it’s release at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ, along with a lineup that included The Foes of Fern, Levy Okun, and Great Oblivion.
Clemons filled his set with songs from throughout his musical journey, including a few from his band The Late Nights. “Growing Up” which, in my humble opinion, is one of the standout tracks from the new album, and it sounded great live. Clemons was joined by members of all three opening bands to close the evening with his song “Ramblewood Parkway”. It was a fun way to end a night of awesome local music.
Check out all four bands wherever you stream your music.

Michael is an Asbury Park based photographer of what life puts in front of him. He snuck his camera into a concert for the first time in 2011 when he went to see Soundgarden on their reunion tour. Two of those shots ended up being published in Photofantasm Soundgarden: Nudedragons to King Animal, and he has been bringing his cameras to shows ever since. He relocated to Asbury in 2019 for its rich music and art scenes...and to save on tolls! He is a big supporter of the local music scene and has become well known amongst the bands for his photos. Michael is also a regular vendor at the Asbury Park Punk Rock Flea Market and can be found selling his prints at a variety of local markets.
