Movements at Fillmore Philadelphia

On March 15th, Movements brought their tour to a sold out Fillmore Philadelphia, with special guests Citizen, Scowl, and Downward.

Downward, a post-rock/shoegaze band from Oklahoma, kicked off the night, filling the room with sonic soundscapes and hushed lyricism before becoming heavy drones. Despite only playing six songs, they left their mark, setting the stage for what was to come.

Next up was Scowl, whose energy set the crowd on fire, with moshing and crowd surfing as they powered through a nine song set. Scowl has a new album Are We All Angels coming out on April 4th, you should definitely check it out.

Citizen followed, taking the stage to a sea of screaming fans. They played a tight set that had the crowd moshing and crowd surfing non stop. Some of the songs they played were "The Night I Drove Alone," "Hyper Trophy," and "Sleep," before closing out their set with "I Want To Kill You."

Movements hit the stage to a massive round of applause. They opened with "Afraid to Die" and right into “Lead Pipe” sending the crowd into a frenzy. Their performance was nothing short of amazing, including the crowd doing a wall of death. The set focused on songs from their 2023 album Ruckus!, along with earlier hits and their latest track, "Where I Lay."

Overall, this was an unforgettable show with an incredible lineup. The energy was non stop, the crowd didn’t stop moving all night. If this tour comes to your city and it's not already sold out, make sure you don’t miss it. I can’t wait to catch these bands again.
