Third Eye Blind Showcase Enduring Appeal With Summer Gods Tour

Many bands strive to maintain a consistent and loyal following and rock act Third Eye Blind despite many lineup changes and shifts have still managed to create an enduring appeal with their passionate fanbase. With their current Summer Gods tour, the band are in top form delivering a sincere, passionate and immersive performance that showcases the band’s genuine progression. Frontman Stephen Jenkins was truly committed on stage and his connection to the audience was truly electrifying and the interplay between each of the band members was seamless throughout. The show struck a strong balance between their anthemic high-energy numbers and their more intimate and understated selections as well, the setlist also delved deep into both their fan favorites along with their recent material. With a wide ranging discography and style of sounds, Third Eye Blind have a lot to pull from and their show was full of emotions, excitement and a truly exhilarating momentum that was effectively sustained throughout the entire show.

The setlist was full of well chosen songs but it was especially joyous to hear the band’s renditions of classic hits as “Semi-Charmed Life” and “Jumper” which remain just as relevant and vibrant as ever. During the show, Jenkins commented on how the band is always well-received in Jersey and the connection between the band and audience was tremendously felt. Credit also to the band’s choice of openers, the inclusion of pop punk act Yellowcard was a welcome one and they brought their signature blend of high-energy and upbeat numbers and added a welcome level of nostalgia. Despite them having a shorter set, Yellowcard still delivered an exciting and emotional set that helped showcase their appeal and were a welcome addition to the lineup!

When it comes to bands maintaining a long lasting appeal, it’s always noteworthy to see whose able to achieve it. Third Eye Blind proved with their most recent Summer Gods tour highlighted that their sound is as emotional and dynamic as ever and their live experience was truly captivating with Stephen Jenkins and his band delivering engaged performances all across the board.
