The Parlor Mob Reunites for the 50th Anniversary of The Stone Pony
On a cold February night, Asbury Park rockers The Parlor Mob reunited to kick off the 50th anniversary celebration of The Stone Pony. Fans packed the legendary venue, eagerly awaiting the band’s first show in almost five years. They did not disappoint. The crowd was treated to an incredible set which included Setting with the Sun, Everything You’re Breathing For, Into the Sun, and Hard Times. It has been an eventful month for The Parlor Mob as they also released their latest EP Back in ’06. Hopefully this isn't the last we've seen of them in 2024.
The lineup included two other talented local acts, indie songwriter Chad Sabo and the self-described “bitch rockers” Little Hag. Both entertained the crowd with their signature styles, and definitely should be on the radar of fans of the vibrant New Jersey music scene. Chad released his debut album Joyride earlier this year, and Little Hag will be headlining the Wonder Bar on April 18th.
