T-Pain Brings The Party To The Stone Pony Summerstage

The Stone Pony Summerstage has hosted some one of the most noteworthy acts around and last Friday, they arguably had one of their biggest shows yet when multi-talented rapper, singer and producer T-Pain performed. With a decade’s worth of hits both independently and featured, the show was one of the most exhilarating and high-energy live experiences to grace the Summerstage thus far! As a performer, T-Pain treated his set like a giant houseparty and the vibes throughout were nothing short of electric, right out of the gate he gave a bombastic and no holds barred performance full of surprises, humor and plenty of energy to spare. With a catalog as long-reaching as his, the question of how many hits would make the setlist was an interesting prospect. Thankfully the show more than delivered on that front, with staples such as “Bartender”, “Can’t Believe It” and “All I Do Is Win” coming together to electrifying effect on stage as well as some surprising yet welcome covers of Journey’s classic “Don’t Stop Believing” and Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey”. While the bangers were an undeniable appeal here, what truly stood out was T-Pain’s message of positivity and believing in oneself which was a welcome statement and his gratitude was genuinely infectious.

Also credit to the sheer momentum of the show which seamlessly transitioned different vibes and moods and managed to incorporate each of his various eras without missing a beat. With such a roster of talent that’s graced the summerstage, there’s always the notion of how they can top themselves. with T-Pain’s recent performance, they’ve easily secured one of their best thanks to it’s joyous, passionate and versatile performance from one of music’s most dynamic and prolific artists. Be sure to give T-Pain a follow on all social and streaming platforms and be sure to catch him as he opens up for Pitbull on tour later this summer!
