SEAN TOBIN BIDS FAREWELL TO ASBURY PARK

Sean Tobin, one of the Jersey Shore’s most talented singer/ songwriters, recently headlined a night of independent artists at The Asbury Lanes. It was his final Asbury Park show before moving to Nashville. The night started with acoustic sets from Brenton Garis, Louie Lee, Abe Abraham and Jason Farlow of The Last Real Circus. Tobin and his band The Boardwalk Fire closed the night with a great set of folk rock for the crowd of locals in attendance. It included new songs “Old Magnolia”, “Song for the End of the World”, and “Caroline” (which will be released October 13) along with old favorites like “Memorial Drive” and "St. Patrick’s Day Forever”.

Tobin has announced a new album, Hands Like Mine, which comes out November 10. Asbury Park Vibes wishes Sean all the best down in Nashville!

Michael Campanile

Michael is an Asbury Park based photographer of what life puts in front of him. He snuck his camera into a concert for the first time in 2011 when he went to see Soundgarden on their reunion tour. Two of those shots ended up being published in Photofantasm Soundgarden: Nudedragons to King Animal, and he has been bringing his cameras to shows ever since. He relocated to Asbury in 2019 for its rich music and art scenes...and to save on tolls! He is a big supporter of the local music scene and has become well known amongst the bands for his photos. Michael is also a regular vendor at the Asbury Park Punk Rock Flea Market and can be found selling his prints at a variety of local markets.
