Jeff Rosenstock - Frenetic, passionate, and a really fun time
Jeff Rosenstock put on a high energy show the other night at White Eagle Hall. His opening bands, Gladie and Sidney Gish provided solid opening sets. Gladia, a full band got the crowd jumping and Sidney Gish mesmerized the audience with their solo guitar work. But the night belonged to Jeff Rosenstock and his crack band. It is my sincere belief that Rosenstock has fully tapped into the minds and souls of the late 20’s crowd. They grew up with Rosenstock’s music and he seems like he has captured the essence of growing up post 9/11 and trying to find their own voices and paths in the world. Beyond that - Rosenstock is just plain fun to watch.
