POP EVIL BRINGS "FLESH & BONE TOUR" TO ASBURY PARK

The Stone Pony was packed to the gills Saturday, November 4th for rock and roll mega stars – Pop Evil. Crossing the country with their “Flesh & Bone Tour” to promote their new album Skeletons, the band was fired up about their hit single (by the same name) “Skeletons” reaching #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart that day.

Vocalist Leigh Kakaty, rhythm guitarist Dave Grahs, lead guitarist Nick Fuelling, drummer Hayley Cramer and bassist Joey “Chicago” Walser pummeled the Asbury Park stage exhilarating rock fans with their unique brand of metal-infused rock and roll. With minimal pauses throughout the night, the group made sure to pepper their new music throughout their setlist including “Skeletons,” “Circles,” “Paranoid,” Eye of The Storm,” and “Who Will We Become.” This most recent album previously notched a pair of top five hits: “Eye of the Storm” (No. 2, September 2022) and “Paranoid (Crash & Burn)” (No. 5, April 2023) clearly demonstrating Pop Evil’s effect and heavy presence in the genre.

Everyone is aware that no successful band climbs the ranks in the industry without years of constant touring and consistent music production. And it’s definitely not lost on the band that the years they’ve put in are finally paying off.

The band is also well aware that their shows are being embraced by masses … a clear message to the industry and venues that rock music is relevant and profitable.  Kakaty conversed frequently with the audience between songs, sharing stories about his dream of playing the East Coast one day.

“When I sat on my couch at home in Michigan, I envisioned being on the coast playing stages like The Stone Pony.” He continued, “We all speak the same language of metal and rock & roll. It’s evident that many of us feel the same way and we all have to band together to bring rock music to the forefront again.”

Pop Evil is one such band that’s successfully leading the charge in order to accomplish just that. Click here for the band’s tour schedule and to listen to their incredible new album, Skeletons.
