Movements Deliver Electrifying Performance at Starland Ballroom

Post hardcore act Movements have been on an increasingly strong momentum as of late with their recently acclaimed record Ruckus! and current world tour. The band returned to NJ for a performance at Starland Ballroom that further demonstrated their electric stage presence and passionate and high energy performance. The band’s frontman Patrick Miranda was in captivating form throughout and his sheer physicality and emotion were exhilarating to behold. The band’s on-stage chemistry was crisp and organic throughout and Movements managed to incorporate both older and newer material into their set seamlessly as well. Movement’s sense of musicality and commitment to their fans was a genuine highlight and the musical and emotional impact truly reflected in the crowd’s energetic response. Credit also to frontman Patrick Miranda’s genuine enthusiasm and appreciation for his fans which was a notable touch, the band’s on-stage momentum was consistent as well as they seamlessly transitioned between songs with plenty of energy and style to spare.

Some bands put on a show and some bands offer an experience when it comes to their live show. Thankfully in the case of Movements, they most certainly delivered the latter. With a set full of raw emotion, endless energy and all-around powerhouse performances from each respective band member, Movements delivered a more than satisfying showcase of their ever-evolving talents. It’s a testament to the band’s progression that several years into their career, they’re able to evolve musically while maintaining a truly captivating live experience in the process. Whether you’ve been a dedicated fan from the beginning or a newly established one, the Ruckus tour is an accomplished and exhilarating experience that’s highly recommended.
