L.S. Dunes Return to Asbury lanes With Powerhouse Performance!

L.S. Dunes in a short amount of time have proven themselves to be one of the most exciting and accomplished supergroups in recent memory. The line up is a who’s who of pop punk and hardcore veterans including frontman Anthony Green of Circa Survive, Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance, Travis Stever of Coheed and Cambria along with Tim Payne and Thursday drummer Tucker Rule. Touring off their recent release Violet, the band returned to Asbury lanes for a start to finish rollercoaster ride of a set that all but solidifies their status. With frontman Anthony Green on vocals, there’s no shortage of showmanship and Green’s visceral energy is matched perfectly by his bandmates. Frank Iero more than ably holds down the rhythm section with his expert musicianship and Tucker Rule radiates pure energy from behind the drum kit.

L.S. Dune’s sound embodies the old school spirit of punk and rock which is purely exciting but with a modern style all it’s own, credit also to the band for allowing each member to respectively shine on stage as well. With a breakneck momentum, Dunes wasted no time in letting it all out on stage and the band’s mix of intensity and emotion greatly resonated with their eager fanbase. Throughout the set, Anthony Green connected deeply with fans and expressed gratitude for their support. It’s also enjoyable to see such organic chemistry on stage between each member and their shared joy is electric to watch. Despite being a relatively new project, L.S. Dunes already feels like a notable accomplishment and each of it’s members more than contribute to it’s genuine success. When it comes to launching a new project, there’s almost always certain expectations, however in the case of L.S. Dunes it’s safe to say those expectations have more than been met and their Asbury lanes show was an exhilarating showcase of a dynamic and vital talent. For fans of all artists involved, L.S. Dunes is a live experience that comes more than highly recommended.
